Theory Workshops: From Preparatory to Level 3
These four theory workshops focus on all theory concepts required at a preparatory to a grade 3 level.
In these theory workshops, we'll discuss:
- Pitch, notation, rhythm and meter
- Major and minor scales and chords
- Intervals and note movements
- Melody and composition
- Musical analysis (the practical application of theory concepts)
- Various terms and signs
- Music history and listening to music, including Mozart and Bach
When you sign up for this set of workshops, you'll receive all four Zoom registration links, and you can sign up for whichever ones you'd like.

About Allysia
Allysia has been teaching piano since 2006 to people of all ages, levels and interests. She has taught at a music school, as a mobile piano teacher in a big city, and has run a home studio in a small town. She has also created hundreds of videos and teaches online courses on playing piano, helping students from all over the world. In addition to teaching, she's currently enjoying making music for her band The Criminal Kid and taking university classes.
